The questions here are about how this site and our enquiries work. Questions about the destination itself, such as how to get there, when to go and what things cost, are answered in the planning guides, where each one can be answered properly rather than in a paragraph.

- Do I pay anything when I send an enquiry?
- No. An enquiry costs nothing and commits you to nothing. We check what is possible for your dates and reply by email. Nothing is booked and no payment is taken until you have seen that reply and agreed to it.
- Who actually answers my enquiry?
- The Asik Travel team, who handle enquiries for every destination site in the group. A reply may therefore be signed Asik Travel rather than Toraja Tourism. It is the same people either way.
- How quickly will you reply?
- We read every enquiry ourselves rather than sending an automated quote, so a reply takes as long as it takes to check the specifics. If you need an answer quickly, WhatsApp is faster than email.
- Can you get me into a funeral ceremony?
- We will not promise that, and you should be careful of anyone who does. Ceremonies happen when a family is ready, not on a schedule, and attendance depends on a genuine invitation rather than a ticket. What we can do is tell you honestly what is likely during the period you are travelling and what attending properly involves.
- Are the prices on the tour pages final?
- No. They are starting prices for planning, and the exact figure depends on group size, dates and what you want included. We confirm the real number in writing before anything is booked.
- Why do some pages say a fact has not been verified?
- Because it has not been. A great deal of the Toraja information online repeats numbers that nobody has checked in years. When we cannot confirm something from a source we trust, we say so rather than repeating it.
